    Begin your yachting adventure from Australia’s most iconic city, Sydney. Blessed with one of the most beautiful and modern harbours in the world, Sydney is a city that you could spend endless days exploring. Full of world-class museums and galleries, excellent shopping and restaurants and some truly picture-perfect landmarks and beaches, this city has everything from luxury to boho. Spend a few days exploring the famed sights of the city and taking short cruises to some of the glamorous suburbs including Manly on the northern beaches.

    Lake Macquarie
    Lake Macquarie

    After a morning spent enjoying Sydney, set sail north for Lake Macquarie which is only a short distance away. This is the largest saltwater lake in Australia and it is home to some wonderful bays and pretty beaches for swimming, sunny or lunching. This region also offers ideal opportunities to indulge in fishing, watersports, surfing, hiking, horse riding and wine tasting…so get exploring.

    Newcastle/Hunter Valley
    Newcastle/Hunter Valley

    Spend the morning at leisure before sailing further north towards the town of Newcastle situated in the beautiful Hunter Valley. Newcastle itself is a thriving industrial town where sport and a working lifestyle rule supreme although it is also home to some lovely wind-swept beaches. Head inland to the vineyards of the Hunter where you can sample the region’s famous Semillon and Shiraz at any of the 120 wineries and buy them straight from the cellars. For the adventurous, head to Yengo National Park for bushwalking or a hot-air-balloon ride.

    Port Stephens
    Port Stephens

    Depart Newcastle today and head further north to the coastal retreat of Port Stephens which is an absolute haven for dolphins and boasts 26 lovely beaches. From the nearby Nelson Bay you can kayak alongside bottlenose dolphins or dive beneath the captivating waters of Fly Point.

    Coffs Harbour
    Coffs Harbour

    Continuing your travels north today, you will pass by a whole range of picture-perfect stopping points on your way to Coffs Harbour. Which you choose to indulge in is completely up to you. Discover the delightful beaches of Forster or the diving locale of Seal Rocks; snorkel or deep-sea fish at South west Rocks; or enjoy private relaxation on the white sand of Nambucca Heads. Arrive in Coffs Harbour for the evening which offers its own fair share of entertaining activities and top restaurants for an evening meal.

    Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay
    Coffs Harbour to Byron Bay

    Adventure opportunities abound today where you can chose to kayak, white-water-raft, fish, or scuba dive in the many National Parks and rivers in the Coffs Harbour area. Alternatively, explore the shops and coastal cafes of this laid-back harbour town or take a drive north to Nymboida to see the region’s largest platypus colony or enjoy rafting, abseiling and rock-climbing. After you’re suitably exhausted, continue sailing north to the delightfully relaxed Byron Bay.

    There is nothing quite like a Byron Bay sunrise, especially if you head ashore early enough to witness it on the Cape Byron Walking Track. Enjoying breakfast in one of Byron’s many thriving cafes is also a popular pastime. Byron Bay is a boho-surf town at its most authentic and offers a range of activities relating to the sea that characterises its lifestyle. Swim and snorkel with humpback whales, sea turtles and dolphins in Cape Byron Marine Park; kayak with dolphins off Main Beach; or surf at The Pass. For something a little different, have a tarot card reading, escape to a rainforest retreat or browse the work of local artists at the markets.Head this evening over the state border and discover the delights of Queensland, the “Sunshine State”.

    Your first Queensland destination is the aptly named Gold Coast which boasts not just golden beaches but street upon street of glitzy clubs, hotels and shopping strips. Families may choose to take a drive to one of the nearby theme parks including Dreamworld, Sea World, Movie World, and Wet n Wild, while others may prefer to laze on the beach, or hit the shops, casino or one of the many cafes. The nightlife here is amongst some of the best on the East Coast and the clubbing heart of Surfer’s Paradise continues to buzz until all hours.

    This morning you will head to your final destination, Brisbane. The capital of Queensland, Brisbane is a river-front of many faces. Mixing art, business, parks, culture, cuisine and fashion, there is something for everyone in this diverse city. Your journey doesn’t have to end here however. The coastal delights of the Sunshine Coast and the Islands of Fraser and Moreton lie not too far away. And there is always the allure of the Great Barrier Reef shining brightly in the north.
