Weather in East Mediterranean

The East Mediterranean hosts a climate easily enviable by the rest of the world. Traditionally Mediterranean, it experiences extended periods of sunlight throughout the year, warm dry summers, and mild winters.

Rainfall is generally extremely low in the East and long stretches of wet weather are highly uncommon. Conditions tend to be milder in the islands than on the mainland. Winter remains relatively warm in the East Mediterranean, particularly in December. Temperatures around 16 °C are quite common and from 5-7 hours of daylight can be expected. Summer heats up considerably although strong winds bring a cool change; temperatures in the 30s are normal. Daylight stretches to last 10 or more hours per day during this period.
