Weather in South Pacific

The South Pacific benefits from a year-round tropical climate, experiencing hot and humid conditions between November and April, while cooler, drier conditions can be found between May and October.

There are always plenty of sunny days to be found amongst the South Pacific islands, and high daylight hours remain fairly constant throughout the seasons. Summer in the smaller islands sees the arrival of cyclone season, although rarely do they reach levels of major damage. Located below the equator, the South Pacific experiences a mid-year winter and a hot summer Christmas period.
