Abeking & Rasmussen
Abeking and Rasmussen still occupies its same pride of place along the banks of the Weser river where it was founded in 1907 and since transformed into a state-of-the-art production facility for constructing yachts up to 80 metres in length.
The German shipyard was established in 1907 by Georg Abeking and Henry Rasmussen who have produced well-over 6,000 vessels since the company’s inception.
Abeking and Rasmussen aims to produce luxury yachts to an unrivalled level of personalisation that truly allows for an owner’s yachting dreams to be realised. Each yacht to emerge from the yard is built to mirror the style and philosophy of its owner and to be both functional and reliable without compromising on aesthetics.
Construction
Abeking and Rasmussen utilises SWATH ship technology to construct superyachts in a range of materials from wood and fibreglass to aluminium, and steel.
Refit
Abeking & Rasmussen also offers expert craftsmanship and technical service throughout yacht refitting.
Yard
With a production facility based in Lemwerder, the yard currently boasts environmentally-friendly workshops, five production halls, office buildings, an inner harbour and a syncrolift.
