Ever since its foundation in 1990, Oceanco has been working towards achieving a reputation as one of the world’s finest shipyards, a feat it can now claim to have reached.
Based in the Netherlands, the company strives to build each and every one of its yachts to the highest standards using its exceptional Dutch engineering, specifications, craftsmen and quality controls. The shipyard specialises in building ultra-luxury superyachts from 40 to 95 metres.
Oceanco operates from a shipyard in Alblasserdam near Rotterdam which is equipped with a private harbour and a climate-controlled shed for the building and refitting of yachts up to 130 metres. The company prefers to offer clients a personalised service where only a small number of yachts are built at any one time; focusing on quality rather than quantity.
The shipyard thrives on undertaking innovative and unusual projects that test the boundaries of interior craftsmanship and exterior engineering. Each Oceanco yacht is unique as the company seeks to complete each build with complete respect to the vision of both the owner and the designer, creating a true yachtsmen’s yacht.
The shipbuilder possesses its own in-house design team but also collaborates with some of the world's most recognized names in superyacht design.
Oceanco also operates a Life After Launch program which seeks to offer not just engineering support but assistance related to everything from mechanical and electrical components to propulsion and entertainment systems. The sales, marketing and administration heart of the company is located in Monaco.
The company lends its name to some of the yachting worlds most recognisable vessels including Indian Empress, Alfa Nero and Anastasia.
