Palmer Johnson

Palmer Johnson has emerged from modest beginnings in 1918 as a builder of wooden fishing boats to become a world leader in the construction of luxury high-performance superyachts.

Palmer Johnson now constructs large semi-custom sports yachts thanks to a new direction from a new owner in 2004. The traditional custom tri-deck yachts that were the cornerstone of the shipyard for so long however remain a monument to the builder’s success.

Shipyards
The American shipyard began its building career from production facilities in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, on the shore of Lake Michigan but has since grown to encompass Flekkefjord Slipp & Maskinfabrikk shipyard in Norway and a yard in Hampshire, UK.
