CMN (Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie) established themselves in 1945 and have since delivered over 350 examples of high-quality nautical engineering in wood, aluminium, steel and advanced composite materials.
Located in the Port De Cherbourg, the French shipyard is involved with the build and refit of both sailing and motor yachts up to 70 metres in length. With classic flair for ergonomic and charming luxury design, CMN hold true pedigree in the yacht building industry.
Yard
CMN’s production facility consists of 110,000-square metres of work space of which 48,000-square metres are undercover. Located on the building site are two large building sheds, a slipway for yachts under 700 tons, and a 3000 ton Syncrolift. Approximately 400 highly-skilled employees staff the facility and cover the various specialities required for the construction of luxury yachts and navy ships.

CMN also includes the subsidiary JMV Industries which specialises in the construction of high-tech racing yachts and multihulls in pre-preg composite. CMN itself is a member of The group Abu Dhabi Mar which also includes Nobiskrug and ADMShipyards.
