Proteksan Turquoise was created in 1997 with the union of two of Turkey’s leading yachting companies; Proteksan Yachts Inc. and Turquoise Yacht Construction. Specialising in the construction of steel and aluminium megayachts from 40 to 70m, the Turkish shipyard has created itself one of the most impressive fleets on the water.

Proteksan Turquoise has been said to have pioneered luxury yacht building in Turkey with its debut launch the 50 metre motor yacht Mosaique. Since its delivery, a range of superyachts have since hit the water varying in length from 40 to 58 metres. Several others measuring up to 70 metres are also under construction.

Production Facilities
Utilising the space and labour force benefits of a two-yard combination, Proteksan Turquoise aims to deliver four first-class luxury yachts each year. The shipyard is headquartered in Istanbul.

Guzelyali-Pendik
2007 saw the company shift to new facilities in Guzelyali-Pendik that allow for the accommodation of four yachts simultaneously of lengths up to 80 metres each. This production facility is used expressly for interior decoration and finishing work.

Golcuk
The second shipyard is located in Golcuk across the bay from Pendik. Here is where the steel and aluminium hull and superstructure work is completed as well as the installation of some machinery and heavy piping. The yard is owned by Celik Yat, a company fully owned by partners of Proteksan Turquoise.
