Barracuda Yacht Design specialises in a broad range of yacht design projects. Having completed innumerable designs for production boats, spectacular one-offs (motor and sail) and a range of commercial ships and vessels, Barracuda Yacht Design can justifiably claim to be one of Europe’s most pre-eminent naval architecture studios.

Under the leadership of Iñigo Toledo, Barracuda have the experience and ability to undertake a cross section of work including hull lines, structural composition, stability work, optimisation work and rig and deck layout, through to yacht interiors and space planning.

The studio’s work with the Spanish America’s Cup Challenge in 1992 and 2007 has provided them with a distinctive vision when faced with the different challenges of design on a daily basis. To be selected and become part of these prestigious projects requires high level of skill and commitment.

In 2009 Barracuda’s design for the 115ft Terranova ‘explorer’ yacht was selected as a finalist in the Superyacht of the Year Awards. And whilst their reputation steadily increases, more and more Barracuda designs are being featured within the international superyacht press.
