Maiora
FIPA ITALIANA YACHTS was founded in 1980 by Francesco Guidetti and his wife Mirna Santucci. The production of the first fiberglass hulls started already in the 1970's for the account of other shipyards but it was in 1985, after years of collaboration, that FIPA GROUP acquired the MAIORA brand thereby instigating the drive towards the level of quality and excellence for which MAIORA yachts are renowned today.
In the 1990's, with the purchase of the historic INTERMARE shipyard, FIPA GROUP gained ample docking space in the port of Viareggio which allowed it to extend its range of customer services to include complete after-sales service, dry-docking and re-fitting works, as well as carpentry and metal works.
The Style
The creations of FIPA GROUP are completely custom products, designed and built to every client's individual requirement. They are unique objects, like a tailor made suit each yacht is made to fit her owner's taste and needs.
Like every organization which strives to achieve excellence, FIPA GROUP has the will to constantly reinvent itself in order to be in step with technological progress while maintaining the perfect balance with manufacturing which is still exquisitely traditional and inspired by taste and style which are typically Italian.
The company is certified UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 which shows its concern with the environmental impact of manufacturing. The search of quality also imposes the observance of the most stringent rules and regulations dictated by RINA, all in the interest of maximum safety.
