Cantieri Navali di Sestri built yachts portfolio

In the past, a thousand ships at a time could be seen leaving the port of Genoa. They left to trade and to conquer distant parts of the globe. Thanks to their maritime skills, in the 16th century the Genovese were known as “ i signori del mare” (the people of the sea). They were sea-going people, just like the men and women who today work at the at the Cantieri Navali di Sestri, where the ancient traditions of shipbuilding are combined with the latest technology. RINA certification in conformity with ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 , plus major investment in new 40- and 200-ton crane lifts, is further evidence of the yard’s continued development in terms of quality and service to customers. The facility is one of the largest in Liguria and has dedicated its activities to the leisure sector since 1989. It occupies an area of 13,00 square metres, which hosts warehouses, workshops, offices, parking and 150 berths for vessels up to 45 metres, plus a refueling dock. Other important features are the inner berths that are always protected from the vagaries of the sea – it is no coincidence that many captains and owners choose to head for Cantieri Navali di Sestri even from very distant locations.
