Ghost Yachts
Established at the end of 2009, Ghost Yachts is currently the youngest brand on the superyacht market. Their yachts combine an innovate yet practical vision on 21st century yachting. Ghosts distinguish themselves by their unique designs and state of the art engineering.
Ghost yachts display extraordinary handling and performance characteristics. The yachts are also very efficient; the combination of advanced hull technology and the latest propulsion systems ensure low emissions, fuel consumption and maintenance efforts.
The hulls can adopt an endless combination of power configurations allowing customers to match the required power to their specific performance requirements. Not only can the hulls cruise long distances with a remarkably low fuel consumption; they can also reach highspeeds of 25 knots for the G180 and 40 knots in case of the G180V.
Flexibility is the key. The spacious and light interior spaces offer plenty of room to manoeuvre for owners and interior designers, in order to create a bespoke interior.
Although Ghost Yachts is a very young company, it is able to combine its innovative spirit with a wealth of experience. The company chose the illustrious Jongert Shipyard as construction partner and the ingenious naval architects of Van Oossanen & Associates for the development of the smart Fast Displacement Hull Form and the supervision of the engineering process. Both partners boast a spotless track record and ensure that the yachts will meet the highest quality standards known in the superyacht industry.
Each of the partners has designed and built numerous award-winning superyachts over the past decades. The Italian outfit Gloss Design is responsible for Ghost Yachts' signature design language. The combination of these companies prove that Ghost Yachts offers the best of the two leading superyacht nations; Grand Italian designs and legendary Dutch engineering and yacht building quality.
Ghost Yachts has launched its first semi-custom design, the G180, in December of 2009. The second yacht design, the G180V, is set to be launched in April 2010. Ghost Yachts expects that the semi custom Ghost fleet designs will be completed in September on time for the Monaco Yacht Show 2010, where the final two yachts, the G230 and G230V will celebrate their public debut.
Besides the semi-custom range, Ghost Yachts and Gloss Design also cooperate on custom designs based on the innovative Ghost platforms. The custom Ghost designs combine the company's signature design language with the owners' personal interpretation of a bespoke yacht.
