The naval design studio was born in Rome out of a long Inno family tradition in the boat building sector from the 1950s onwards, as a shipyard specializing in the construction of wooden boats. The combination of this family craftworking and industrial tradition with engineering know-how, architectural culture expressed as interior and exterior design, and over twenty years of experience consolidated at Italy’s largest custom shipyards are the key to the winning mix distinguishing the career of Naval Architect Alessandro Inno. Alessandro Inno acquired his professional experience as a production and design supervisor and manager at some of Italy’s most important shipyards, including Cantieri Navali del Golfo and Italcraft. In 1988 he founded Inò Group, putting into practice his idea of revolutionizing the sailing world with a winning combination of engineering know-how and architectural culture.
