2010 Lavazza Calendar is an Italian classic
The eighteenth collectible calendar from Italian coffee company Lavazza has been revealed, with photographer Miles Aldridge fusing the elements of music and photography to create a tribute to Italian classics.
The coveted calendar combines six of the world’s best known models with the inspiration of six famous Italian songs to produce a visual representation of sipping an espresso coffee, or more specifically, an Italian espresso.
The models featuring in the 2010 calendar include Bianca Balti, Georgia Frost, Lydia Hearst, Daisy Lowe, Alexandra Tomlinson, and Alek Alexeyeva.
British photographer Miles Aldridge was honoured with the head job this year, following in the footsteps of previous industry leaders including Annie Leibovitz, David La Chapelle, and Jean-Baptiste Mondino.
His task for the 2010 Lavazza Calendar was to visually interpret the classic Italian tunes of Nessun Dorma; Va' Pensiero; Con Te Partirò; Guarda Che Luna; Baciami Piccina; and 'O Sole Mio.
This exclusive calendar is released in a strictly limited number every year and distributed to a carefully selected list of recipients throughout Europe.
