Vacheron Constantin Releases Two New Timepieces

Historical Swiss watchmaker Vacheron Constantin has unveiled two new additions to its Patrimony Contemporaine range of timepieces, including a limited-edition, ultra-thin, self-winding model featuring a pure dial in finely grained sandblasted platinum.

Limited to just 150 pieces, the Collection Excellence Platine model is available in a 42mm diameter case and includes a Calibre 1120 self-winding movement developed in-house by Vacheron Constantin.

In addition to the case and crown, the timepiece’s hands, buckle and dark blue alligator leather strap are saddle-stitched with silk and platinum threads.

The second new release from Vacheron Constantin is the Patrimony Contemporaine small model, available in pink or white gold and boasting a hand-wound Calibre 1400, also crafted in-house.

Its slender 6.7mm watch profile is accentuated by a rim of 62 brilliant-cut diamonds, whilst the 36mm diameter gold case frames an opaline silver-toned dial. Long applied hour-markers punctuate a beaded minute circle in 18-carat gold

The Patrimony Contemporaine Collection Excellence Platine is priced at $57,300, whilst the Patrimony Contemporaine small model costs $24,800.
