Beocom 2 vamps up the colour for Christmas
This time of the year usually sees a wash of red and green, but the design talents from Bang & Olufsen are unveiling their innovative BeoCom 2 cordless telephone in new clear colours for the Christmas season.
Easily recognised but not easily copied, the BeoCom 2 is renowned for its unconventional shape and bold design that has positioned it as one of Bang & Olufsen’s design icons.
Just in time for the holiday season, the BeoCom 2 is now available in seven new high-polished crisp colours including bright red, white, blue, black, yellow, grey, and natural aluminium.
These brighter, shinier, and hardier versions of the traditional BeoCom 2 are produced by the aluminium tubes being anodised, polished, and coated in the same lacquer used in the car industry to avoid scratches before milled into their final, unique shape.
The cordless telephone is crafted from a single piece of aluminium to form a shape which rises up from its base in a gentle curve designed to fit comfortably with the human face.
