Bulgari to Unveil Serpenti Women’s Timepiece at BaselWorld
Amongst the array of stunning watches on display at next month’s BaselWorld fair in Switzerland will be a new women’s timepiece from Italian fine jeweller and watch-maker Bulgari.
Made of 18-karat pink gold, the timepiece is the latest addition to Bulgari’s Serpenti range, and features a case shaped like a snake’s head and a jet-black enamel coiled bracelet set with diamonds. The case is protected with anti-reflective, scratchproof sapphire crystals.
Underneath the front sapphire glass, there is either black sapphire or white mother-of-pearl dial – depending on the model – encrusted with 33 diamonds set on hour-markers. The total weight of diamonds in the timepiece is 4.12 karats.
The watch is powered with a Swiss made Caliber B031 quartz movement, personalised for Bulgari.
The Serpenti watch collection is available in stainless steel, or 18kt rose, yellow, or white gold, with prices ranging between approximately $7,00 and $96,000.
BaselWorld 2012 takes place in Basel, Switzerland between March 8 – 15.
