Iconic French luxury jewellery house Cartier is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its legendary Tank watch with a new collection of models.

Suitable for both men and women, the six new Tank Louis Cartier pieces retain the much loved design of the original watch, but with a fresh flourish to commemorate the milestone anniversary.

Two pink gold watches in the six-piece collection come in a plain, non-diamond encrusted design, with one available is a small case size (29.5mm x 22mm x 6.8mm) and the other in a larger size (33.7mm x 25.5mm x 6.6mm).

These watches are powered by an in-house manually wound caliber 8971 MC movement, with the small model priced at $9,150 and the large mode costing $11,500.

Other models in the special edition collection include watches in a choice of pink or white gold, both featuring rows of brilliant cut diamonds down the sides of the bezel and a crown also adorned with a diamond. They are priced at $19,500 for the pink and $20,800 for the white gold version.

The last two watches are the same models and colours, but available in a smaller case size. They retail for $15,500 for pink gold and $16,000 for white gold.

In addition to this collection, Cartier is also adding three new versions of the Tank Cintrée, powered by a manually wound 9917MC calibre. The pink gold and platinum versions are priced at $56,000 and $62,000 respectively, with 100 pieces of each produced.

Founded by Louis-François Cartier in Paris in 1847, Cartier has grown to become one of the world’s most illustrious luxury brands.
