Limited to just 18 pieces, the Frog Zr – named after the chemical symbol for zirconium, from which the watch’s case is entirely made – is fitted with a striking 22-carat purple gold battle-axe rotor that spins to reveal glimpses of alluring greens and golds.
Bulbous domes housing the watch’s hours and minutes enable the wearer to easily read the time from a variety of angles without having to turn the wrist.
The watch’s movement is a three-dimensional horological engine designed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht/Agenhor, powered by a Girard-Perregaux base, with a balance oscillating at 28,800 bph.
Presented on a black alligator strap, other stand-out features of the Frog Zr are the fine hand-finishing of the 304 component highly-tuned 36-jewel engine within its space-grade zirconium case.
Meanwhile the case itself comes with intricate detailing including clover-head screws, an engraved arrow indicating the over-sized date and a display back revealing dual ceramic bearings that drive the domes.
The Frog Zr is available exclusively from select retail partners around the world at a price of £56,000 (€63,000).
