Latest Lifestyle News: Bentley Soft Top Hits the LA Spotlight

Los Angeles is more commonly associated with the movie world than the car industry, yet once a year the sprawling Southern California city plays host to a high profile car show.

The 2019 edition kicked off last week, and among the lavish models on display has been the convertible version of the third generation Bentley Continental GT.

The convertible is almost identical to its coupe sibling, and is powered by the same 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine that churns out 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. You can read more about it in today’s newsletter.

Elsewhere this week, we report on a brand new limited edition timepiece that has emerged out of a partnership between watch brand Tag Heueur and a renowned Japanese designer, as well as the launch of the all-new Range Rover Evoque.

There’s also news on a Hermès tableware collection inspired by the patterns of spring, the newly debuted Audi A1 Sportback, and a London bar that is selling what's claimed to be the world’s most expensive cognac.

Finally for this week, we profile another new limited edition timepiece, this one the creation of Zenith and designed to mark the unveiling of the previously mentioned Range Rover Evoque, along with Carbon Champagne’s endeavours to mark Bugatti’s 110th Birthday with a lavish bottle of fizz.

That’s all for now. Until next time, enjoy our newsletter and have a wonderful week.
