Turning fairytales into reality is eccentric Belgian fashion designer Martin Margiela with his completely transparent Glass Slippers.
Looking as though they’ve stepped straight from the pages of Cinderella, the glass footwear have been designed as either wearable accessories or as decorative art sculptures.
Further enhancing their unique appeal, the slippers are being sold as per shoe rather than by pair. One shoe carries a price tag of about £790, while a pair is priced just under £1,600.
The shoes are available from Maison Margiela stores only.
