Marilyn Monroe's Brentwood Home for Sale
Hollywood Icon Marilyn Monroe’s Spanish colonial-style home in Los Angeles is now reportedly up for sale for $3.6 million.
Marilyn Monroe bought this sophisticated and luxurious home in 1962 for $90,000. Six months later Monroe was found dead, lying on her bed after a tragic overdose of sleeping pills. However, Monroe left behind a world renowned legacy and a beautiful Los Angeles home.
The Spanish colonial revival house is based in the sophisticated neighbourhood of Brentwood near Beverly Hills, named the crowned jewel of the area. The land of Monroe’s home covers 23,000 sqft with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a palatial outdoor swimming pool.
Secured behind the large gates of the neighbourhood cul-de-sac, the Spanish home is located by the San Vincente shops and restaurants in a highly enviable area.
