This summer, guests can stay in the Parisian hotel’s Barbie luxury private suite, which boasts luxurious sofas, pink rugs, light fittings, a Barbie desk and bedside tables, heart-pattern curtains and a beautiful baroque mirror.

The 5-star hotel first created the unique room last year, and such was the demand that it decided to re-open it for summer 2011.

Guests can also choose from two different ambiances: Barbie Modern Princess, described by the hotel as ideal “for little girls who dream of tiaras, princesses and fairytales”. This room features Royal bed linen and a pet grooming table.

The other style is described as Barbie Fashion Icon, for those who love “fashion, trends, and fabulous glamour”, and features brightly coloured adornments, a computer and designer furniture.

The hotel has also created a Hot Wheels room, targeted at boys and dedicated to speed, cool cars and excitement.

Located in the in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris, close to the prestiguus avenue des Champs-Elysées, the Plaza Athénée Hotel was founded in 1913.
