Just weeks after launching the fastest 911 ever made, the Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive series, the German carmaker has unveiled a special edition timepiece inspired by the record breaking car.

Aptly named the Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, it is Porsche’s first watch featuring an in-house movement and was created by Porsche’s dedicated customisation division, Porsche Design

Both the car and the watch will be manufactured as limited editions of 500 each, according to the individual order, and delivered simultaneously.

Using the design cues from the 911 Turbo S Exclusive series, the chronograph features a number of Porsche Design hallmarks as well as housing Porsche Design’s first mechanical in-house movement.

In terms of the design, the carbon dial is offered in six colours: Golden Yellow Metallic, Carrara White Metallic, Agate Grey Metallic, Black, Guards Red, and Graphite Blue Metallic, along with matching seams in the same hues.

The black hands feature white SuperLuminova coating for maximum readability. Other design features include a Matte-black movement with chrome-plated bridges, plates and polished screws and engraved Porsche Design icons. The rotor is designed and finished to match the original wheel rim of the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series.

The Porsche Design Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is priced at $12,650 and will be exclusively available at Porsche Centres worldwide to owners of the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series.
