Tamlin & The Fall create exquisite minaudiere collection
The Space Between is the debut capsule collection from luxury design house Tamlin & The Fall; a trio of exclusive and unique minaudieres.
A minaudiere is a hand-held decorative case specifically designed for carrying small items, and these elegant options feature a meld of silver, leather, hammered-chain, and feathers.
This collection of three from American designer Tamlin & The Fall features forms based on the egg, the crystal, and the shell.
The egg is adorned with a hand-dyed feather tassel or hammered chain wristlet; the crystal is sculptured to fit in the palm; and like its name implies, the shell has been inspired by the shape of a seashell and embraces the hand somewhat like a bracelet.
Each case features over a pound of precious metal crafted from solid silver, vermeil, or solid 18-carat gold, and can be lined with either matte black American-alligator or natural rattlesnake.
The minaudieres are made to order and the collection is only viewable by appointment. Pricing starts at US$19,800 each.
New York City-based company Tamlin and The Fall consists of the design duo of founder Jessamee Sanders and Elise Ballegeer.
