We like to think we played our part, by co-hosting a truly memorable yacht party and contributing to the production of another opulent affair. Our week in Cannes has been documented across the website, and the videos we shot speak louder than any words. Check them out, but prepare to be dazzled as there was some serious jewellery on show – and that was just the guests!

Speaking of sparkling gems, I took the opportunity whilst I was in Cannes to sit down with some of the most influential and cutting-edge jewellery makers around today. Fawaz Gruosi, Stefan Johansson and Mohamed Shawesh have all taken vastly different routes to get where they are– but all three stand at the forefront of a fast-moving industry, pushing the boundaries of possibility and making dreams come true.

Elsewhere this week, we’ve covered a major new car launch, with Aston Martin unveiling their brand new V12 Zagato model on the banks of Lake Como in Italy at the exalted Villa D’Este Concours event. Reports coming back from the show indicate another magnificent turn-out – by people and cars alike. We’ll be running a full report in next week’s newsletter with all the best images from one of Europe’s most celebrated car shows.

But before that, we’re of to the Monaco Grand Prix where we’ll be speaking to more power players from the world of luxury. Needless to say, you can look forward to more exclusive interviews and coverage from the illustrious Formula One event. Until then, have a great week.
