Le Pharaon Yacht
Motor Yacht Le Pharaon
The 55 metre Feadship superyacht Le Pharaon is a vessel which uses its size to create an expert amount of space on board to cater for both business and pleasure. Designed by Feadship’s own Frits de Voogt, the naval architecture and design on this yacht is of a De Voogt Naval Architects pedigree.
The superyacht, which has large bronze Tutankhamen heads fitted on the transom and both sides of its funnels, was launched in 1989 and stands up to the years with its distinctive profile. Often seen cruising the world’s waters, Le Pharaon accommodates for 12 guests with a Pierre Tanter interior which imbues the superyacht with a sense of opulence and comfort throughout.
Her top speed of 15.6 knots is reached through dual Caterpillar 3516 DI-TA engines, which command 1410bhp at 1200 rpm each. Pace, however, is not the main source of concern as comfort on board is maintained even at top speed thanks to the meticulous naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects and Kusch Yachts.
