In today’s chair we have had the pleasure of welcoming, Hein Velema, CEO of Fraser Yachts, Thom Conboy from Merle Wood & Associates, Bernard Gallay, Thierry Voisin and the fearless, world renowned anti-whaling activist, Captain Paul Watson of Sea Shepards.
It was an honour to meet Captain Paul Watson. The man who is not only the driving forces behind the most effective and feared activists on the sea, but the founder of Greenpeace and the director of the academy award winning ‘The Cove’. Whaling is a major problem around the world and with people like the Sea Shepards fighting a righteous battle against the intolerable issue; Superyachts.com can only help raise the awareness needed.
Other interviews have included talks with the likes of Michael Moore, the President of Seakeepers, Jonny Horsfield of H2 Yacht Design, Luiz de Basto, Anco Kok from Mulder Shipyards and Frank Laupman from Omega Architects.
It’s been hard work this week as Superyachts.com has been running events, directing interviews with some of the industry’s biggest names, stepping aboard the finest superyachts and even sending our roaming camera man to the top of the 63m mast of S/Y Fidelis.
Keep an eye on Superyachts.com over the next few days for the most in-depth insight into the Monaco Yacht Show on the web.
