Darius: first 100m+ superyacht of 2009 launched by Lürssen

The first superyacht of 2009 measuring over 100m was launched out of Lurssen Shipyard’s new floating dock located in Bremen Germany, in the afternoon of the 27th of April, 2009.
Codenamed Project Darius and slated for a summer delivery, she measures 110m with a Tim Heywood exterior and a Glenn Pushelberg interior.
Darius is the second 110m yacht to be launched by the German shipyard, the first of which was Dilbar, launched and delivered to Russian entrepreneur Alisher Usmanov in 2008.
