Editor's Note: Signed, Launched & Delivered

The headline deliveries and launches of 2018 so-far have culminated this week with new announcements emerging from across the world. From Heesen’s ongoing launch roster to the signing of yet another Nobiskrug, this year is getting heated as we move ever closer to the iconic superyacht showcases sitting on the horizon.

Starting with the introduction of Abeking & Rasmussen’s latest project, the launch list of this week has been nothing short of impressive. The 74-metre Elandess is Germany’s new addition to the global fleet, with a distinctive Eidsgaard style to follow on from the yard’s highly-acclaimed Aviva.

As one yacht leaves the yard in Germany, another project begins after Nobiskrug announced the arrival of a new 62-metre superyacht; hinted at in a teaser sketch from Espen Oeino.

The second reveal of a new project - in collaboration with Imperial Yachts - in the space of a month, this is a sign of great things to come from Nobiskrug. As to be expected given their incredible portfolio.

Heesen, in classic fashion, continues to charge forward with new projects after recently delivering both Irisha and White, two unique yachts with distinct notes of evolutionary styles. CRN’s latest addition to the water, Latona, has also been successfully delivered to her owner just in time for summer cruising.

Elsewhere in Italy, the Versilia Yachting Rendez Vous opened for the second time today, welcoming a fleet of yachts representing the best of the Made in Italy DNA. While it’s still early days, we’re looking forward to bringing you more from the docks this week as news and announcements emerge.

While the world prepares for the revelry of May, such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, we’re working hard on new projects and bringing you the latest from the yachting industry.
