ISA improves services with new travel lift

International Shipyards Ancona (ISA) has announced a vast improvement in its After Sales & Refit Business Unit with the addition of a new travel lift.

The new lift is available for the slip way and launching of new yachts of weights up to 400 tonnes.

Among the benefits of the lift’s inclusion at ISA is increased flexibility and operative efficiency allowed by modular length bands and mobile scales which cater for the slip way of yachts in a range of shapes and sizes.

Diagonal and 90 degree translation is also made possible by the new movement system.

In conjunction with the new lift, an 11 metre-wide and six metre-deep tank has also been built to be used for slip way and launch operations.
