Feadship’s 80m Project 715 Hits The Water

By Frances Flannagan

Making her way to the outfitting facility in Aalsmeer, Feadship’s 80m Project 715 has been unveiled to the industry for the first time. This extraordinary vessel features some of the most sustainable innovations currently available, highlighting the significance of her technical launch to not just Feadship, but the industry as a whole.

Project 715 has officially hit the water: a highly secretive, 80m motor yacht built by Feadship. Her first sighting has revealed her to sport a striking exterior profile, sleek and sophisticated, and spanning four decks.

She is an ice II class design, boasting one of the most environmentally friendly and efficient yacht propulsion systems on the market.

The Dutch yard commented: ‘The Diesel-Electric-Battery-Solar propulsion allows the yacht to have a zero carbon footprint for up to two days running on advanced technology water-cooled batteries.’

Whilst details on her design and features have been kept tightly under wraps, the initial images show her to have plenty of exterior space and lots of windows, lending themselves to a yacht which connects her Owner and guests to their surroundings with an abundance of natural light and a plethora of al fresco offerings.

Superyachts.com would like to congratulate Feadship on this exciting launch, as we join the rest of the industry in eagerly awaiting more information on Project 715.
