La Plantation
La Plantation is one of Martinique’s most-lauded restaurants: situated in a Creole-style building set deep within a lush garden, this is a true gem. Hidden down a steep lane in Lamentin, one can eat surrounded by a serene marble interior, or open to the air on the veranda accompanied by strutting cockerels.

Basil’s Bar
Basil’s Bar, located on the island of Mustique, enjoys a popular reputation and not just because of its A-list clientele. Serving delicious island-inspired cocktails and freshly caught seafood on a glorious terrace resting on stilts over the sea, this is an all-around favourite. In case the mood strikes, Basil’s has a small dance floor, though it’s typically the Wednesday night barbecue that brings in the customers.
