Sailing yacht Antares Avance is a performance comfort cruiser whose luxurious decks make her a pleasure to charter in the Mediterranean or Caribbean. Built in 1991 by Dutch shipyard Jongert, she only entered the charter market in 2007 following an extensive refit that saw her emerge with fresh interior décor, exterior paint and new electronic systems. The 30 metre Antares Avance accommodates seven guests in four lavish cabins and boasts a professional and attentive crew of four.
Guests are welcomed onboard with a fine deck layout that caters for both serious sailing and peaceful relaxation. Inside is an atmosphere of space and warmth created by the vessel’s high ceilings and light oak.
A highlight of her design is the double-cockpit layout which includes two shaded seating areas; one near the helm and a second with tables for guests. Although both are comfortable, only one is really in the mix of the crew’s operating work, meaning guests can choose to participate in the sailing or simply relax; an option not offered by sailing yachts with only one big cockpit.
Sailing yacht Antares Avance is powered by a Mercedes MTU 300hp engine that allows her to reach a maximum speed of 11.5 knots and cruise comfortably at 9.5 knots. She is fully MYBA compliant and, with a dedicated crew of four headed by Italian Captain Franco Barovina, she is an excellent charter yacht for luxury vacations.
Antares Avance Accommodation
Luxury charter yacht Antares Avance sleeps up to seven guests in three standard cabins and one convertible cabin.
Master Cabin: Features Double-bed; and study that converts into fourth cabin when needed.
Two Twin Cabins: Each features an en suite.
Convertible Cabin: Features a French bed which converts into a double-sized bed, and an en suite. When not in use, this cabin is used as the Owner’s study.
