Explore Cannes By Day...

For a day spent ashore, these are the places to be pampered, the sights to see, the shopping districts to delve into, the activities to indulge in, and the gourmet treats to discover.

SPA Martinez
The SPA Martinez, is a private escape for men and women to enjoy the very best in modern pampering treatments specifically targeting anti-ageing, sensory stimulation, and beautification.

Shiseido Spa
The Shiseido Spa in Cannes’ le Mas Candille five-start hotel offers a perfect antidote to life’s stresses with the uniquely developed Qi method encouraging relaxation at the deepest levels to restore the skin’s natural beauty.

Boasting some of the sandiest stretches and beautiful bays on the Cote d’Azur, Cannes is a true luxury sunbathing experience. Most of the beaches are controlled by the hotels that lie behind them, meaning you will have to pay a price on admission, and most are gloriously littered with umbrellas and deck chairs.

La Croisett
For the quintessential designer shopping experience, head to the glamour of La Croisette. Inviting stores stretch from the Hôtel Carlton almost to the Palais des Festivals, though the biggest names can be found in and around the high-rise mall Gray-d'Albion.

The fanciest boutique in town with service to match is Alexandra, hidden away at the back end of the Noga Hilton. This is where the finest designs from Mori, Givenchy, Rochas, Lacroix, and Montana can be found. Galeries-Lafayette, located near the train station, also has a small boutique here where the ultimate in upscale fashion can be comfortably perused. For the ultimate in perfume look no further than Bouteille, offering the most extensive collection of rare and sought-after scents by far.

Rue d’Antibes
On the other side of this fashion heaven is rue d’Antibes, another less-glitzy but equally as satisfying shopping avenue.

Film Festival
During the first two weeks of May each year, Cannes becomes the ultimate playground for the world’s biggest names on the silver screen. More than 30,000 actors, producers, directors, 4,000 journalists fill the manicured streets and luxury hotels of Cannes for the chaotic and excessive Cannes International Film Festival.

Take advantage of the beautiful Cannes weather and indulge in lunch at one of Cannes’ most sought-after outdoor venues, Le-Marais. A warm and attractive mix of Paris chic and traditional charm, the tempting menu includes fresh seafood items, and hearty meat dishes drizzled with rich sauces.
