Kentaurus Yacht

Kentaurus

Kentaurus

With a total length of 49.42 meters and Gross Tonnage under 500GT, KENTAURUS is a sport yacht, but don’t let it confuse you.. it is actually an explorer at heart!

She can accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. The owner’s cabin is located on the main deck, while a VIP, 2 doubles and 2 twin cabins are located on the lower deck. The aft of the yacht is focused on water sports and waterfront activities, with its two retractable side platforms transforming it to a huge 180 degrees view beach club Adding the infinity pool, the open bar and plenty of seating & sunbathing areas she offers the top set up for water based activities. And that’s only the aft area.. guests may enjoy their cocktails with a sunset view whilst having a refreshing hydro massage in the bow Jacuzzi or having dinner at the forward dining area. There is an ample tender & toys selection, stowed in both the enclosed and outdoor garages. Equipped with a 6.5 & 5 meter RIBs, two wave runners, four Sea Bobs, two Hydrofoil Jet Surfs & a long list of inflatable water toys.

The design proposal aims to:

• Reach a yield point between the fast-modern character of the Yacht and her exterior styling and interior layout by using elements that endure through time without redundant exaggerations.
• Provide independent and functional circulation of Guests and Crew which will ensure privacy for the Guests and high-quality service from the Crew.
• Combine ample interior spaces for the Guest with spacious exterior areas on all decks.
• Ideal for both private and charter yacht use, having 6 guests’ cabins (12-14 passengers) and 6 crew cabins (11 crew).
• Create a multi-functional and generous swimming platform which will provide – when combined with the aft main deck Pool and the 2 side platforms – a relishing contact with the sea.
• Ensure suitably located and sizeable service areas and stores, which will provide the possibility for high quality service.
• Increase the hydrodynamic characteristics and propulsion performance of the yacht. This will lead to lower fuel consumption as nowadays saving even a drop of fuel is important.

The above are achieved by means of optimising the hull and especially the aft part so as to install 2 Voith Linear Jets, which on the one hand are more efficient than Waterjets at low speeds and on the other hand, they have a reliable propulsive coefficient at lower speeds at which the Waterjets are particularly energy-consuming.
