Weather in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is home to a sub tropical climate that fosters extremely hot, humid summers and warm winters that rarely dip into single digits on the coast. November and December are lovely times to visit with gentle breezes, sun-filled days and comfortable temperatures.

Heat begins to settle in the bustling city as early as March when spells of high humidity are common, and usually lasts until August which is also the wettest month of the year when rain is expected about four days a week. Temperatures in summer usually sit in the mid 30s and only drop as low as 26 degrees Celsius most days. July through September is most susceptible to tropical cyclones.
