Situated in Africa’s north, Morocco experiences an extremely hot mid-year summer and a mild, comfortable winter. Coastal regions average daily sunshine hours from nine to 10 in summer and seven to eight in winter.
The Atlantic coast, home to Casablanca, is where the most rain falls although drier conditions can be found the further south you travel. May/June and September/October are favourable times to visit Morocco due to their sun-filled days, hot but not unbearable temperatures and lovely sea temperatures. Maximum averages of 30C and minimums of 15C are typical of these months.
