Weather in Fiji

Typically tropical, Fiji’s climate boasts constant temperatures year-round, and receives the majority of its rainfall in the summer months. Daily temperatures sit at warm to hot throughout the seasons, and water temperatures are always comfortable for swimming.

The larger islands are usually the most heavily saturated, particularly the capital of Suva. Sunshine is focused on the northern and western shores of the islands, and the brightest days can be found between May and October. Humidity hits its peak between December and April. It is important to note that earthquakes are can be common in this part of the Pacific and may often trigger landslides or tsunamis.
