Weather in Tahiti

Tropical, warm and humid, Tahiti boasts an average of 8 hours of sunshine every day. A comfortable holiday destination year round, the island heat is cooled by the generous trade winds.

Split into two distinct seasons, Tahiti’s weather can be defined by the Rainy Season from October to March and the Dry Season from April to September. The summer months are characterised by cloudy skies and hot, humid days, while winter, if you can call it that, brings a welcome strengthening of winds but water and air temperatures remain mild and rarely fall below 17 degrees Celsius.
