Weather in Malaysia

Malaysia has a quintessential tropical climate with high temperatures and humid days. The east experiences a rainy season from November to February while heavy rainfall occurs in August in the west.

Malaysia is tropical without harbouring unbearable temperatures, where days are very warm and often humid and nights are cool. The best time to visit Malaysia is from June to September or in January and February when rainfall is at its lowest and temperatures sit at a comfortable range of 22C to 32C. Daylight hours remain virtually constant throughout the seasons, as does temperature, meaning the only thing distinguishing the seasons is the amount of rainfall.
