Saint Barth’s boasts the record of having no more than five days per year without sun. Hot summers and almost as equally warm winters dominate the climate, with temperatures usually varying only subtly between the seasons.
These highly stable temperatures are due to the refreshing trade winds which bring welcome breezes to the sunny shores. St Barts is divided into two seasons of weather; the dry season known as Lent (Careme), and the more humid winter. The rainy season, if it can truly be called that, arrives in St Barthelemy in June and lasts till November. Rainstorms tend to pass quickly, leaving the sun to shine most days. Water temperatures usually range between 20º and 23º Celsius year-round.
