Limoncello Tasting
Sample one of Portofino's local specialties and enjoy an on board tasting session of delicious Limoncello. A unique liquor made from fresh lemons, the drink is a favourite among locals and tourists alike. There is no better way to experience this proud piece of local character than by inviting a distiller on board to serve some of the region's best, including Basilicello, a basil-flavoured version of the lemon favourite.

Activities
Golf
Portofino is located just a short 20 minute drive from one of Italy’s oldest and most scenic golf courses, Golf Club of Rapallo, challenging golfers of all levels amidst a magical setting combining woodland, hills and rivers. This classic course has attracted many keen golfers over its long history, including the famous Dukes of Windsor, Bob Hope, Guglielmo Marconi, and Bill Gates. The Golf club also hosts a clay and grass court tennis centre where those not wanting to play the course can spend a few hours stretching their sea-legs.

Diving
The promontory of Portofino shelters some of the most interesting and captivating dive sites in the Mediterranean. Few can claim to host such an amazing array of life forms, so much so that the area is now a designated national marine reserve, making scuba diving an absolute adventure of wonder and discovery.

Inside the protected area, amazing marine life and secret caves draw the eye, while outside the boundaries, the majority of dives are to explore fascinating wrecks; warships, steamboats, merchant ships and naval tugs all with stories to tell. In the summer months, dolphins and whales also call these waters home, so you may just be lucky enough to encounter one first hand.
