Amico & Co Shipyard One Step Closer to Cleaner Refits
Genoese refit and service shipyard Amico & Co has announced that is has made a significant monetary investment towards the clean manufacturing and environmental sustainability of both its own services, and the city of Genoa. The yard has now successfully completed the installation of an extensive state-of-the-art photovoltaic system that, with renewable energy, will now cover an impressive 53% of its annual energy needs for both the shipyard itself, and the production activities of its nearby berthing facilities of the Waterfront Marina.
