Romeo Marine
Company profileFounded in 2008, Romeo Marine is a family-owned custom superyacht shipyard based in Dubai Maritime City. Building on more than four decades of heritage through its sister company, Romeo Interiors, the yard combines specialist interior craftsmanship with advanced engineering to deliver custom new builds, refits, rebuilds and fit-outs for clients across the Middle East and internationally.
As the Middle East's only custom superyacht builder with expertise in both steel and aluminium construction, Romeo Marine occupies a unique position within the regional market. Its fully integrated 12,000-square-metre facility is the largest of its kind in the Gulf, centred around a 120-metre construction shed capable of accommodating yachts of up to 105 metres, or multiple large projects simultaneously.
A multidisciplinary in-house team manages every stage of construction, from naval architecture and engineering to fabrication, painting, joinery and interior finishing. By combining these capabilities under one roof, Romeo Marine maintains direct control over quality, scheduling and project delivery while providing owners with a streamlined build process.
The yard also draws on an international network of superyacht professionals, bringing together experienced naval architects, engineers and project managers from the UK, the Netherlands, Italy and Turkey alongside regional expertise. This combination enables Romeo Marine to deliver yachts to internationally recognised standards while benefiting from Dubai's strategic location, modern infrastructure and growing support for the superyacht sector.
Romeo Marine's close relationship with Romeo Interiors further strengthens its offering, bringing more than four decades of specialist interior craftsmanship to every project and allowing engineering, construction and interior execution to be developed as one coordinated process.
The shipyard is currently preparing for the world debut of its first flagship project, the 55.7-metre Romeo 55, at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show. Featuring exterior styling inspired by contemporary-classic design and interiors by Pulina Exclusive Interiors, the yacht represents the yard's approach to fully bespoke superyacht construction and is being represented by Burgess as central agent.
Alongside Romeo 55, construction is progressing on the 60-metre Romeo 60, which combines exterior design by Gresham Yacht Design with interiors by Pulina Exclusive Interiors. Designed to accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms, the yacht will feature a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system with azimuthing pod drives, reflecting Romeo Marine's growing focus on efficiency, manoeuvrability and more sustainable yacht design.
Driven by the ambition that has shaped Dubai into one of the world's leading maritime hubs, Romeo Marine is helping establish the UAE as an increasingly credible destination for world-class custom superyacht construction.
