Finishing Touches
It’s not just the build process of the hull and superstructure that needs to be carefully considered when it comes building greener.
The endless high-end finishing touches, furnishings and fixtures that give each yacht it’s personality must also be chosen in line with greener principles. The creative process behind every decorative element, from handwoven soft furnishings to bespoke carpets can be made more sustainably, by, for example, using recycled fabrics and dyes that contain less chemicals. We look at how superyacht-building and in particular, interior design and craftsmanship can be more sustainable if measures are taken to ensure this is the case.
