ABEONA is a 75-metre purpose-built expedition support yacht developed by Damen Yachting as part of its Yacht Support (YS 7512) series and delivered in 2023.

Engineered to accompany the world's largest private yachts on extended global voyages, she combines commercial-grade durability with advanced expedition capabilities, providing the logistical, operational, and technical support required for long-range cruising in the most remote regions of the world.

Designed with functionality at the forefront, ABEONA serves as a highly capable shadow vessel, carrying the equipment and infrastructure that would otherwise occupy valuable space aboard a primary yacht. Her expansive aft working deck, certified helicopter landing facility, heavy-lift crane, and generous cargo capacity allow her to transport tenders, chase boats, personal watercraft, vehicles, aviation assets, diving equipment, expedition gear, spare parts, and provisions while maintaining exceptional operational flexibility.

Built with a robust steel hull and aluminium superstructure, ABEONA is powered by a commercial-grade propulsion system that delivers reliable worldwide performance, a cruising speed of 16 knots, and a transoceanic range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles. Her engineering systems, workshop facilities, and extensive storage spaces enable prolonged autonomous operations, supporting maintenance, logistics, and expedition activities far from traditional service facilities.

Accommodation is provided for a small number of guests together with a large professional crew, reflecting her primary role as a dedicated operational platform rather than a conventional luxury yacht. The vessel is equipped to support helicopter operations, diving expeditions, scientific research, security missions, and extended cruising, making her an invaluable asset during complex worldwide itineraries.

Today, ABEONA is widely recognized as one of the most advanced purpose-built support yachts in service, operating as the dedicated support vessel for the 127-metre sailing yacht Koru. She exemplifies the modern evolution of expedition support vessels, extending the capability, range, and self-sufficiency of the world's most ambitious superyacht programs while allowing the primary yacht to remain focused on delivering an uncompromised guest experience.
