Launched in March, the largest yacht ever built by Ferretti Yachts is the result of a collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Mr Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, architect Filippo Salvetti, and IdeaeItalia for the new interior concept.

Ferretti Yachts 1000 reshapes and changes the approach to life on board, with design solutions and an interior mood developed to adapt to the various needs of a modern superyacht owner. The first Ferretti Yachts 1000 features classic styling, with a mood defined by soft, balanced colours. Her interior and exterior areas deliver comfort and wellbeing while adhering to the quintessential ‘Made in Italy’ taste that is so synonymous with the Ferretti brand.

The exterior styling of the Ferretti Yachts 1000 reprises the design philosophy introduced with the latest models in the range. Her profile is dominated by sporty lines featuring new glass side panels aft and amidships. Teak is used widely across the yacht, while this is the first time that Ferretti has made extensive use of carbon fibre on the superstructure and hard top.

A new flow concept on board has enhanced liveability, a success that is due to become an iconic feature of the largest yachts in the range. Large, full-height windows accentuate the feeling of contact with the water while complementing the sense of space in the yacht’s guest areas. A harmonious balance of material, with fine upholstery and fabrics, offers a pleasant sense of softness, warmth and comfort throughout. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in five luxurious cabins, comprising of the owner’s suite on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck.

A 40 square metre stern concept provides a beach club where guests will make the out of their time at sea, where direct access to the swim platform from the cockpit creates an outdoor wellness area in contact with the water. The cockpit is a spacious area with a glass parapet at the stern, furnished with two comfortable sofas facing each other and a teak table in the centre that can be transformed into either a coffee table or a dining table.

The concept of space and ergonomics is expressed by a generous salon overlooking the water. Large windows can be fitted on request with opening mechanisms on both sides, working to create a sense of continuity between the interior and exterior spaces.

The interior styling of the main deck living space plays masterfully with contrasts between warm tones and paler, and these delicate nuances are also repriced by the furniture. All designed by Minotti, they include a large Alexander model corner sofa upholstered in ecru fabric, a Side model low table with leather clad panels and a Zebrino marble top sunk into the structure, and a Tape model velvet armchair.

The owner’s suite is entered from the bow and has a spacious walk-in wardrobe with a small sofa. The TV is hidden behind the mirrored wall opposite the bed, and the furnishings are custom made with contrasting pale leather tops. The owner also benefits from a generous full-beam bathroom, which skilfully combines marble and wood and is entered from the suite through two smoked glass doors.

The first Ferretti Yachts 100 unit is equipped with 2638 mhp MTU 16V M96L engines, which give the yacht a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. The flagship can be fitted on request with gyroscopic stabilisation combined with stabilizer fins to ensure maximum comfort and silent running both at anchor and when cruising.

An epitome of ‘Made in Italy’ quality, the Ferretti Yachts 1000 provides owners and guests with a revolutionary experience on the water.
