Helga
Already turning heads due to her striking pastel-blue hull, the 27m Raised Pilothouse Helga will be sure to cause a stir at Cannes. With exteriors and interiors by Dutch Studio Guido de Groot, the all-aluminium motor yacht was launched from the Van der Valk shipyard in 2021 and will be making her debut on the world stage at Cannes this year. With accommodation for up to eight guests across four staterooms, Helga’s contemporary and sophisticated interior is distinctive for its large gathering spaces indicative of the owner’s wishes to create a family superyacht.

Venera
Also debuting from Van der Valk is the 28m explorer Venera. Launched in 2020, the lightweight aluminium motor yacht sports a fast displacement hull which helps her to reach her top speed of 21 knots. Her interior was the result of another collaboration with designer Guido de Groot and ensures that the guests onboard can remain in the utmost comfort whilst the yacht progresses around the world.

The pioneer of the avant-garde As range, Astondoa’s 25m As8 will be making her first appearance on the Mediterranean stage at Cannes this year. A blend of elegance of style and sporty detailing, the As8 is fully customisable and offers her owner multiple configurations to align with any taste. The timelessness and craftsmanship distinctive of Astondoa flows through the yacht’s interior and exterior design, the result of which is a yacht that satisfies a navigator looking for luxury, character and practicality.

Alongside the As8, Astondoa will also be exhibiting the latest yacht in its Flybridge As cruising line the As5 and the colourful 377 Coupe.

These are not the only yachts making their first appearances in the 24m+ category, other world debuts include the Wally WHY200, an exciting 27m motor yacht and the latest design to come out of the renowned Monegasque brand alongside Ferretti Group’s Engineering department. Plus the RSY 38m EXP, a long-distance cruising vessel with a true explorer personality and the first pleasure yacht to come from Rosetti Superyachts.

Along with the 150 yachts making their debut at the prestigious Cannes Yachting Festival, there are plenty of yachts that are returning to the docks after spectacular debuts elsewhere. These include the 29m Azimut S10 which made her debut at Cannes in 2019 and will be returning this year alongside the Azimut 25 metri and the Azimut 27 metri. Plus the Riva 90’ Argo who made her global debut in Miami in 2019 before being unveiled for the first time on the European stage at Cannes in 2019.
