Angel's Share

Owen Clarke provided a full range of naval architecture, yacht design, engineering, and project support to the owners of the Wally 130 Angels Share, both prior to purchase and during the extensive refit undertaken at Luursens. Our consultancy included tank testing leading to modifications to the yacht, load/force evaluation which resulted in a re-design/engineering of the rig, and deck layout, as well as a review of sailplan/performance of the yacht under the IRC and ORCsy rules. After her re-launch, designer Merfyn Owen continued to race onboard  undertaking load monitoring, performance and data analysis for several seasons until Angels Share was put up for sale by her owners.
